Regal Medical Transportation

Private transportation to outpatient cancer treatment

Treatment schedules can require repeated visits, long days, and careful coordination with a companion. Regal reviews private ride requests for ambulatory passengers traveling to non-emergency outpatient cancer appointments across Middle Tennessee.

Plan the trip

Details that make this ride different

Good transportation planning starts with the schedule, correct entrance, realistic return timing, and a clear understanding of what the passenger can do independently.

01

Use the treatment center’s arrival instructions

Cancer centers may direct patients to a specific clinic, infusion entrance, radiation department, or parking level. Include that destination and the requested check-in time rather than only the campus address. Regal plans transportation to the confirmed curbside point but does not enter clinical areas, complete registration, or communicate with the care team about treatment.

02

Plan companion travel before booking

A trusted companion may be helpful when the facility requires an escort or the passenger wants support with instructions. Include every traveler in the inquiry so seating and pickup details can be reviewed. Regal’s chauffeur cannot replace a caregiver, receive confidential medical information, manage medication, or remain with the passenger during or after treatment.

03

Expect treatment duration to vary

Infusion, radiation, laboratory work, and provider visits may run on different timelines. Share the best estimate and ask about the available return options. Waiting time is not included unless confirmed, and a vehicle may not be immediately available if the appointment ends at a different time. Keep a reachable contact ready to report meaningful delays.

04

Recheck comfort and ambulatory ability

How a passenger feels may vary across a treatment series. A standard passenger ride should proceed only when the person can reach, enter, and exit the vehicle with little or no assistance and travel seated with the ordinary seat belt. Regal does not provide clinical observation, symptom monitoring, wheelchair transport, oxygen support, or emergency response.

What to share with Regal

Keep the request focused on transportation. These details help the team review the route without collecting sensitive health information.

Return-trip considerations

When a treatment day runs longer than expected

Contact Regal as soon as the timing changes. The team will explain what the confirmed booking allows and whether a revised pickup can be supported. No vehicle is guaranteed beyond the agreed schedule. If the passenger develops symptoms, needs medical attention, or cannot use the vehicle within the ambulatory scope, follow the care team’s direction and use appropriate medical or emergency transportation.

A request is not a reservation. The ride is booked only after Regal confirms the date, schedule, route, passenger fit, and quote.

Questions about this service

Before you request a ride

Can a companion ride to treatment with the passenger?

A companion can be requested. Include the person in advance so the complete passenger count and trip plan are part of Regal’s confirmation.

Does the chauffeur monitor the passenger after treatment?

No. Regal chauffeurs provide passenger transportation only. They do not monitor symptoms, administer medication, provide oxygen, or deliver medical care.

Can several treatment dates be requested together?

Yes. Provide the known schedule and Regal will review each date or recurring pattern for availability rather than assuming every future ride is reserved.
