Regal Medical Transportation

Recurring ambulatory transportation for dialysis visits

A repeating treatment schedule benefits from a transportation plan that is documented clearly. Regal reviews recurring dialysis ride requests for ambulatory passengers, with each schedule based on route, pickup details, expected treatment timing, and ongoing service fit.

Plan the trip

Details that make this ride different

Good transportation planning starts with the schedule, correct entrance, realistic return timing, and a clear understanding of what the passenger can do independently.

01

Build the request from the confirmed treatment schedule

Provide the treatment days, required check-in times, clinic entrance, and anticipated duration. Recurring availability is not assumed from one completed ride; Regal must confirm the dates and trip pattern included in the quote. Holidays, clinic schedule changes, or added treatments should be reported as early as possible for a new availability review.

02

Set a realistic return-pickup process

Treatment completion can vary from one visit to the next. Ask the center what timing information it can provide and identify who will contact Regal if the patient is delayed. A scheduled pickup, separate on-demand inquiry, or approved wait must be confirmed. The chauffeur cannot wait indefinitely or enter the treatment area to check patient status.

03

Review how the passenger feels after treatment

Fatigue, weakness, dizziness, or a change in mobility may make a standard passenger vehicle unsuitable. The passenger and care team must determine readiness for ordinary seated transportation. Regal chauffeurs do not monitor symptoms or provide clinical assistance. If the passenger cannot walk to and enter the vehicle with little or no assistance, use an appropriate medical transportation provider.

04

Keep recurring contact details current

For a repeating schedule, share a reliable passenger or coordinator contact and consistent curbside pickup instructions. Notify Regal when an address, entrance, companion, or mobility need changes. A recurring arrangement remains transportation service, not standing medical supervision, and every ride is subject to the confirmed scope and operating availability.

What to share with Regal

Keep the request focused on transportation. These details help the team review the route without collecting sensitive health information.

Return-trip considerations

A recurring schedule still needs flexibility

Dialysis visits can finish earlier or later than estimated. Regal will document the return arrangement that is actually confirmed, but a repeating appointment does not create unlimited waiting or immediate on-demand availability. Contact our team about schedule changes before the vehicle is dispatched. If the passenger’s condition no longer fits ambulatory transportation, the ride should not proceed.

A request is not a reservation. The ride is booked only after Regal confirms the date, schedule, route, passenger fit, and quote.

Questions about this service

Before you request a ride

Can I request rides for several dialysis dates at once?

Yes. Submit the full schedule for review. Regal will identify the dates it can confirm; one accepted ride does not automatically reserve every future treatment date.

Does Regal bill TennCare, Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance?

This page does not represent Regal as an insurance or government-program transportation provider. Ask our team about the private quote and payment terms for the requested trips.

What if I feel too weak to walk after treatment?

Tell the treatment staff and contact Regal. Chauffeurs cannot provide hands-on transfer or medical care, so another transportation option may be necessary.
