Regal Medical Transportation

Transportation to outpatient physical therapy

Physical therapy may involve a series of appointments and mobility that changes over time. Regal can review one-time or recurring transportation requests for passengers who can use a standard passenger vehicle within the ambulatory service scope.

Details that make this ride different

Good transportation planning starts with the schedule, correct entrance, realistic return timing, and a clear understanding of what the passenger can do independently.

01

Describe the pickup path, not a diagnosis

A useful inquiry explains practical access details: stairs, a long walk from the building, a gated entrance, or the preferred curb. Do not submit diagnoses, therapy notes, or medical records. Regal needs enough transportation information to review whether the passenger can reach and use the vehicle, while the therapist remains responsible for all clinical recommendations.

02

Review mobility throughout the therapy series

Ability can improve or temporarily decline during rehabilitation. Before each trip, the passenger should still be able to enter and exit a standard vehicle with little or no assistance and use the regular seat belt. Canes or small personal aids should be disclosed for space review, but Regal does not provide wheelchair securement, lifting, transfers, or gait assistance.

03

Coordinate recurring visits without assuming availability

Share all known dates and check-in times when requesting a series. Regal can review the pattern and identify which trips are available. A confirmed Tuesday ride does not automatically reserve every Tuesday, and clinic rescheduling does not automatically change the transportation booking. Each adjustment should be confirmed directly with Regal.

04

Select a clear post-therapy pickup point

Therapy offices may be inside larger medical buildings or rehabilitation campuses. Include the building, suite, and patient entrance. After the visit, the passenger should meet the chauffeur at the confirmed curbside location. Chauffeurs do not enter the therapy gym, receive progress information, or provide therapeutic assistance.

What to share with Regal

Keep the request focused on transportation. These details help the team review the route without collecting sensitive health information.

  • Therapy dates and requested arrival times
  • Clinic building, suite, and entrance
  • Stairs, gates, or long pickup-path details
  • One-time or recurring trip request
  • Return timing supplied by the clinic
  • Any mobility change affecting standard-vehicle use

Return-trip considerations

Planning after an active therapy session

A passenger may be tired after therapy even when the appointment has a predictable duration. Build a reasonable pickup window around the clinic’s guidance and notify Regal of delays. The passenger must remain independently ambulatory within the stated service scope at pickup. Regal cannot provide physical support exercises, walking assistance, transfer help, or post-session monitoring.

A request is not a reservation. The ride is booked only after Regal confirms the date, schedule, route, passenger fit, and quote.

Questions about this service

Before you request a ride

Can I book a full series of physical therapy rides?

You can request all known dates together. Regal will confirm the individual trips or recurring pattern that fleet availability supports.

Can I bring a cane or small personal mobility aid?

Mention it in the inquiry so vehicle space and service fit can be reviewed. Regal does not provide wheelchair securement, lifting, or equipment handling.

Will the chauffeur help me walk from my home to the vehicle?

No. This is ambulatory curb-to-curb transportation. The passenger must reach, enter, and exit the standard passenger vehicle with little or no assistance.
