Phase 1 service scope

Ambulatory transportation, clearly defined

This service is for passengers who can enter and exit a standard passenger SUV with little or no assistance and remain seated with the vehicle’s standard seat belt for the trip.

If a passenger needs a wheelchair lift, boarding ramp, stretcher, hands-on transfer, medical monitoring, or clinical support during the ride, this Phase 1 service is not the right fit.

(615) 900-5900
Who is ambulatory medical transportation for?

This Phase 1 service is for passengers who can enter and exit a standard passenger SUV with little or no assistance and remain seated using the vehicle’s standard seat belt.

Do you provide wheelchair-lift, ramp, or stretcher transportation?

No. Regal Medical Transportation is launching as an ambulatory-only service. Wheelchair-lift or ramp-equipped vehicles, stretcher transport, hands-on transfers, and medical-support equipment are not currently offered.

Can I request a round trip or an uncertain return time?

Yes, include that information with the inquiry. Regal will confirm whether a scheduled return, a separate pickup, or waiting time is available. Waiting service should not be assumed until it appears in your confirmation.

May a family member or companion ride along?

Include the companion in your request. Companion travel is subject to seating, route, and trip confirmation.

How far in advance should I request a ride?

Send the request as early as you can. Availability depends on the date, time, route, trip duration, and passenger needs, and no trip is reserved until Regal confirms it.

Is this an ambulance or a medical-care service?

No. Regal provides scheduled ground transportation only. Chauffeurs do not provide medical care, monitoring, medication assistance, or emergency response. Call 911 for an emergency.
